ybdpt.net is the mothership, and so far there are two sub-blogs: Knive Magazine and Les Autres.

Following their clean and reduced CI i created this page using the structure theme by Muku Studios and Jeff Milone, modifiing it to fit their needs to present the news around the network.

This was my contribution. The image pages were printed on lucent paper, overlaying the text pages, which looked quite nice. If you like to test these receipts, and you understand german, you can download the pages here.

The project is a collaboration of the hamburg fashion brand and shop YBDPT, the photographer Felix Krüger, and the new face model agency The Special. They make shooting sessions on a regular basis, and the photos beeing produced are extremly beautiful, inspirational and often pretty sexy. Knive Magazine

The task for the site was to build a reduced yet elegant page looking like a magazine cover, including share features to spread the images, and a lazy loader, to have the site containig many huge images still loading smoothly. At the same time the layout should be integrated in the CI of the YBDPT blog network. WordPress and jquery did the job beautifully, and a big shout out goes to Muku Studios and Jeff Milone for the slick structure theme that i modified for this blog.

Sensavo is specialised on interactive light art. The objects react on different influences of the environment such as light, movement or acoustic events.

While creating freely developed objects of art, they also develop new projects for their customers. Sensavo creates objects which take in the environment´s pulse and reflects it to the eye of the observer. Of course by drawing nearer he himself becomes part of the local environment and sends out impulses which are then reflected again.

If you are working in architecture, interiour design or with light techniques for events, you should follow their website. They will be propably one of the first companys beeing able to produce interactive light modules in series, ready to be used for whatever creative idea you might have.

LES AUTRES

Following the design of Knive Magazine i created this page also using the structure theme by Muku Studios and Jeff Milone, but the modification was done different enough to still give this blog it’s own identity.

It is inspired by this quote of Woody Allen:

We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

Stumbling upon this image one day, and i fell in love with this shot of a deer tribe coming out of the dark forest – reminded me a lot of living in the night. so i made this poster to put it in my flat.

It’s nothing special, as the shootings where never really thought through – just grab the camera, two speedlites, and see what we could make out of the day actions. But as i still like some them, have a look at this little selection.
